My Grand Entrance Into The World

Well since I blogged last alot has occurred in my crib! First of all I was born on May 25th at 3:20 pm to my mommy and daddy. I was forced out of my hot tub early because my mother couldn't control her blood pressure anymore. So I began my way out on Tuesday at 2pm. My mother had quite a time getting me out. I wanted to really make an entrance and decided that I would try to swan dive out in a back bend. To my surprise her tailbone will not allow this to happen so Dr. Spetalnick turned me around with two salad tongs. It was eventful but I am doing great now. I thought it was a great idea but obviously they did not. Oh well.... I was born 6 pounds, 11ounces, 19.5 inches. My eyes are blue for now and everyone tells me how pretty I am. I think I am more handsome though.

My first night at home was a long night. My mother and father was super stressed and really did not sleep all night. They kept checking me to see if I was breathing. I loved being held by them. Everytime they put me in my new bassinet crib I felt so alone that I would let them know it. I found that if I yelled out for them that they immediately would pick me up....pretty cool, huh:) I was also introduced to the two doggies,  Coco and Lola. Coco does not bother me one bit. She just sits beside my mother and pretends that I do not exist. Lola is constantly sniffing me and watches my every move. I wonder what she is plotting on me. Saturday night my Nana came and stayed with me so that my mother could get some sleep. We partied all night as well. She is even better at holding me all night. By Sunday night I decided that I had enough fun with everyone and decided that I would sleep when I was put in my bassinet but would sure let them know when I was hungry.

I had my first Pediatricians apt. with Dr. Murray at Gallatin Children's Clinic on Tuesday. He was really nice to me and my mother was ecstatic that I had gained my weight back to 6 pounds. I had lost to 5 lbs. 11 oz. when I left Vanderbilt. The rest of the week I hung out with my mom and Nana and did alot of sleeping and eating, while my daddy went to work. I went to get my picture taken on Thursday of last week. I cant believe that my mother and father made me ride that giraffe. I will get them back for that someday. So all in all it has been a pretty good first week of life. I am still trying to figure out my mommy and daddy and I think they worry too much. Here are a few pictures with my interpretation of the events!
Before they started the Magnesium(worst and best drug ever.....makes you feel awful but keeps you from having a seizure when BP is too high.
Excited but nervous for my arrival.
After Magnesium was started. Popsicles were my mothers best friend and these Ice Cold Rags that the nurses would make for me. Love them!!!!!!
My grand entrance. My mother pushed for 4.5 hours with a 45 minute rest break. Exhausting but well worth it!
                                                            Hello World!
What a proud daddy....my mommy looked so terrible that she will not let a picture be released. haha
                                                                 I did it!
                                                       Saying my prayers:)
My Vanderbilt outfit that my Granddaddy gave me for Christmas last year.
This is my going home outfit and also the outfit that my daddy went home in. I am about 3 pounds smaller than he was though. But I still look cute.
First Bath at home before my Gran, Papa, and Aunt Alicia visit.
                                                                First time in my swing.
Newborn Pictures. More to come, this is just a sneak peak preview.

Riding the giraffe. No my daddy is really holding me on the giraffe and he is cut out of the photo.

My First Blog- In My Temporary CRIB

So before I make my grand entrance into the world I deceided to start a blog to tell everyone alittle about myself. I do not know alot about these parents of mine but from in here I think their names are Derek and Michelle. From also what I gather they aleady have two other children because I constantly hear them say, "get down Coco and Lola", and "Go Outside." I have no idea what this means. I do hear them explain to people that they are very excited to start a family and can't wait to meet me. I will start to make my way out of this cramped up hot tub in about 9 weeks. When I listen to my mothers thoughts she says she is nervous and anxious but can't wait to squeeze my fat little cheeks. Whatever that means. For now I will continue to simmer in my temporary crib and kick the mommy when I get hungry.
As for my father he is also excited and is constantly getting started on a new project for my room. He has painted the walls and put all my furniture together with some help from the granddaddy.
Last week we all started baby classes. It is starting to be more real everyday. Daddy is much more laid back than mom, soooooo hopefully together they will figure out what to do with me once I am in the world. Here are some pictures of our room transformation and getting ready for my arrival so I will end my post here and just add some pictures.
